Oatmeal Cookie Chunk was a beloved Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor.

It included sweet cream cinnamon ice cream, oatmeal cookie chunks, and fudge chunks.

It was around from 2003 to 2012.

Ben & Jerry’s claims they discontinued the flavor when the supplier who made the oatmeal cookies stopped production. They couldn’t find a supplier to live up to their standards.

That sounds suspicious, and we are sure there are plenty of oatmeal cookie makers out there who would be eager to partner with the Vermont giant.

Häagen-Dazs Crème Brûlée ice cream was inspired by the classic French dessert.

It included a rich vanilla custard base with caramel swirls.

Sadly, Häagen-Dazs took the guillotine to the flavor and officially discontinued it in 2016. We don’t know why it was axed, but something tells us it was not because of the Brûlée.

Think back to your childhood in the 1990s; you might remember the popular frozen treat Popsicle Sprinklers. An ice cream stick covered in colorful, crunchy sprinkles.

It makes sense; who doesn’t want to eat a combo of sprinklers and ice cream?

Probably my favorite school favorite as a child. The Choco Taco.

It was an ice cream treat invented in 1983 with a waffle cone taco shell filled with vanilla ice cream and smothered with chocolate / peanuts.

It was a nostalgic favorite for over nearly four decades.

It was discontinued in July 2022 by Klondike (owned by Unilever) likely due to supply chain issues of the COVID-19 pandemic. Though there have been rumors of its eventual historic return.

Häagen-Dazs Bananas Foster was an out-of-this-world limited edition ice cream flavor inspired by the classic New Orleans dessert.

If you walk down the hip streets of New Orleans, you will find a desert full of banana ice cream with a rum-flavored swirl and pieces of caramelized banana.

Häagen-Dazs eventually put the bananas in the graveyard per its policy of rotating flavors.

Nothing makes me more nostalgic for childhood than Flintstones and ice cream.

To make things worse, their was such an item that existed in the 1990s called Flintstones Push-Up Sherbet Treats.

They featured fruity sherbet in a cardboard tube with Flintstones character branding.

The Flintstones-branded version was discontinued by the end of the decade, but luckily, you can still find Push-Up ice cream in frozen food aisles today.

Finally, we have one more Häagen-Dazs flavor for you. The Macadamia Brittle.

The flavor combined vanilla ice cream with crunchy macadamia nut brittle. People loved it for its rich texture and nutty taste.

It was discontinued in 2015 due to sourcing enough macadamia nuts. You can blame the largest producer of the nuts, South Africa, for that.
